Ingredients

  • Assorted cheeses (cheddar, brie, gouda, blue cheese)
  • Assorted crackers and bread
  • Fresh fruit (grapes, apple slices, figs)

  • Honey or jam

  • Wood chips (oak, hickory, or apple recommended)

Method

  1. Arrange the cheeses on a serving platter or cheese board.
  2. Add crackers, bread, fresh fruit, and nuts around the cheeses.
  3. Select the cheeses you want to smoke and place them into your smoker.
  4. Add a small amount of wood chips.
  5. Infuse with smoke for 5–10 minutes.
  6. Return the smoked cheeses to the board.
